Bespoke Veranda & Pergola Installation
Tomorrow’s Spaces offer bespoke installation services to help you to create the ideal outdoor space .
Step 1. Contact us and we will either call or email you to discuss what type of Tomorrow’s Space you are looking for (veranda, pergola, carport, covered play area etc).
Step 2. Once we know what you are looking for, and have agreed what best suits your needs, we will be able to provide an estimate which will be inclusive of design, materials and installation.
Step 3. Once you have agreed to go ahead, our fitters will arrive at your home (or business premises) with an installation plan and all the materials needed to complete the task.
Step 4. The wooden construction will be fitted together and erected on site. Joints are handmade for strength and durability and to allow for customisation. Posts will be fixed to either the hard surface of your patio, or will be fixed into the ground using metal post spikes.
Step 5. The roofing system of your choice will be fitted, including a weather proof strip to ensure it does not leak. Roof timbers are strengthened between roof beams and covered with clear PVC sheeting, or polycarbonate to provide maximum shelter and light.
Step 6. Step back and admire and start living your outdoor dream!
Roofing & Material Options
We will advise on the best materials to suit your vision and your budget.
The timber used for the framework is weather treated and tanalised. This makes it long lasting (minimum 10 years) and hard wearing. If you would like to colour treat the structure or paint it, we recommend planed timber posts. Or if you prefer, we can colour treat your framework prior to installation.
We offer 2 roofing options. PVC is extremely popular. It has an attractive corrugated profile and offers high transparency whilst being strong enough to cope with all weathers. Our other system is highly durable poly-carbonate as used traditionally for conservatory roofs
We highly recommend all our customers consider purchasing a water harvesting system. The addition of guttering and downspout help to keep the ground beneath the veranda or pergola as dry as possible. Adding a water butt collects rainwater so that it can be used to water plants in dry weather. This is a real bonus if you are on a water meter, or live in areas which often experience hose pipe bans.
Indoor wood burning stoves, garden fire pits and pizza ovens all use logs. A Tomorrow’s Space pergola or veranda can be adapted to integrate a log store. Alternatively we build log stores which you can purchase from us in kit form.

Veranda Installation Costs
How much does a veranda, pergola or other covered space cost?
Typically a veranda, attached to a wall could cost from as little as £800 upwards. This is an example of a large veranda (approximately 6mx3m) which including fitting could be yours from as little as £1,600. This veranda was purpose built to provide shelter over a paved area at the rear of a modern home in Leeds, West Yorkshire. It was constructed using pressure treated timber for long life and spans the whole rear of the house.
The veranda provides space which keeps the patio furniture, barbeque and toys clean, dry and usable in all seasons.
All verandas, pergolas, car ports etc. will be individually planned and costed to meet your needs.
